Surely Goodness And Mercy Shall Follow Me

Posting my last journaling assignment for the year 2010. Not much to share with you....But it's been fun journaling this past few months. I seem to have more to  say when I'm writing my poems or blogs.

The goodness of God is with us. The things that come our way. Such joy to know that God is with us. He is a merciful God.

Surely goodness and merciful shall follow me all my day...I like that verse. It's in Psalm 23.  The goodness of God is so good.

I'm getting ready for the celebration. I'm going to ring in the new year. It's cold and windy here. So I better dress warmly.

Surely Goodness And Mercy Shall Follow Me All My Days...Continue my journaling on my next entry.

Some Good In Doingl

I haven't been working on my assignment. I've been doing other things. My mind isn't on this subject today. I was doing  writing some poems. Later on I started doing some family history searching.

A friend lead me to a site to find a grave. I came across a few. I was surprised that I did. It seems like it's a site where people search for graves and add it to the site.

I wondered who found the graves of my relatives. I came across four of my relatives graves online. I might add some of the ones that I have. It's good to do good.

Been thinking about 2010...It's about over. On more day and that's it for this year.
Happy New Year!

Seeing The Good In Situations

I'm still working on this assignment. I had some ideas. I don't know. I'll keep brainstorming.

Seeing the good in situations is a good thing. There are a lot of things that can come our way. We have to see things in a new light.

Perhaps it's a test. How you ever wondered about some things that come into your life? Wondered why in the world did this did things have to happen to me? Like I didn't do any thing to deserve this.

Well, in life things just happens. We have to make the best of things. We have to have that good attitude. We can get mad and make the situation worst. Or we can be some help in the issue that we are in.

I know it can be hard. But, think about it. If we know that in some time in our lives, there will be things that come our way, we can change the outcome of it. We can be the hero and not the victim.

We should learn how to be quick to forgive when we are done wrong. We can learn from what we learn through out our lives. We need show some mercy toward others.

May we see the good of what comes in to our lives. May we grow in our relationship to better understand others. May we listen to what's going on around us when things don't go our way. Amen!

Assignment: What Went "Terribly Wrong: And How Was It A Gift?

I've been trying to figure out what this assignment, is all about. Here are some words from the assignment. We label circumstances as either "good" or "bad."

"We have the ability to attach meaning to life's events....by reframing perceived "bad" events as positive events...we learn to do this on a consistent basis, we start living an amazing positive, empowering life.....We become light, fun, energetic and uplifting, and people want to be around us!

"Describe something that you perceived to go "terribly wrong' and write about how it was a gift." I have to think on this one for a while. Maybe it has click in my thinking yet. What is this assignment about?

I'll come up with something, I hope! Meanwhile...Counting down the days of 2010...A new year is to be born in a few days. Twenty Eleven. Happy New Year!

This assignment will crossover into 2011. Maybe that's how long it will take me to do this assignment. I thought that the last assignment was hard.

May we enjoy the things we like to do. May we see the good of going through. May we experience things to help us grow in the LORD. Amen!

Desire To Compile A Book On My Family History

I have done a lot of writing over the years. I've been journaling about my family history for some time. I've thought about making a book out of what I have discovered. I'm adding more and more to the family history every year.

I have a desire to compile what I have found over the years into a book. I see that my family history is very interesting. I don't want to loose what I have discovered.

I can't imagine how to begin this book. I don't know what the book cover could look like. I heard that the publishers choose the cover etc...

What Are My Desires?

I've been resting up. My voice is coming back. Still coughing... What are my desires? Still thinking about the assignment.

One thing I desire that I may ask to see the LORD in His sanctuary. Sunday worship was beautiful. God fills me with surprises. God is so God.

Some one ask why do I like to wear hats? He was just wondering. I like to wear hats. He was doing a study out the New Testament. Women covering their has have angles protecting them. I need to google that one on hats and angels.

I plan to finish up this assignment on Monday. It's a detailed assignment. I don't how detailed I can be. I'll see.

May we enjoy the day that we are in. May the LORD surprises as we go about our days. May we see the good in ours as we are on our way. Amen!

Desires Of The Heart

Merry Christmas!

It's been some what of a good day. I have a desire for my voice will return. It's a sinus drainage of some sort. I believe that my voice is getting better.

In life, we want things to go our way. When things come at us we are not as comfortable with that issue of life. The situation makes us do other things. It's a challenge.

Hope all had a great day! Each Christmas is different. Enjoying the time that is by making the most of what I can. Hope that you had good day!

May we enjoy the time that we have right now. May we see that we can work with what we have. May we journey into what coming ahead of us in Jesus' name Amen!

What Are My Desires For This Season?

What are my desires for this season?

That my voice will come be to normal. That this Winter will not be so bad. About this time last year we had a blizzard on Christmas Eve Night. That wasn't a good thing.

I'm hoping that I can regroup from this allergy thing or sinus drainage thing. The weather changing and whatever is in the air. I was doing good. Than this thing attacks me.

I can see myself back into my normal routine. That's when I'm able to talk normal. That's when I'm not like sounding like I have a cold. I don't have a fever or aches and pains. I have cough and a runny nose at times.

My throat is.... well I don't know how to describe it. It doesn't hurt when I swallow. I believe that I will be alright.

It's Christmastime. I don't think I've ever been like this at Christmastime. I'm not going to let this get to me. I'm going to make the best of things.

May we have a good attitude when we are going through things. May we see the good of things while going through. May we enjoy this Christmas Season. Amen!

Desire: Assignment

I haven't worked much on my journaling assignment about desires. I'm in the Christmas mode. I'm just about done wrapping. I have some more Christmas card to mail out.

It's been a productive day. I think I wore myself out earlier this week. I'm doing too much. I need to slow down. I'm getting better at it.

I have been thinking about some of my desires. I will write about one of them. I don't know how I will approach this assignment. I have to describe what my desire is in detail. I'll see...

May we learn to have balance in our days. May we prepare for the season that we are in. May we see our hearts desires come to pass in the set timing. Amen!

Peace and mercy to you.

Journaling Assignment on Desires

I've been thinking about my next journaling assignment. It's about desires. What are my desires? What things do I really want to have? What things do I really want to do and so forth?

This assignment is where I'm writing my desires in descriptions. I have to describe things in detail. I should  take the time to really imagine my desire clearly and play it out in my mind's eyes.

This sound like a hard assignment. I'm suppose to play my desires out in my imagination. I know I can't live in a fairly land type world. The things I desire and want should have some with in reason.

I don't know how to start this assignment. I've been thinking about some things. I have jotted down some things the I would to see come to past.

What are my desires?
This entry is just my introduction. I have to think on this one. Giving in detail of my desires?

May we think of our hearts desires. May we be realistic. May we have to wisdom to know what is for us as we imagine what things may be like. May we see our heart's desires come to past.

What Do I Believe About Happiness And Religion? Conclusion On Assignment

I've been thinking What Do I Believe? for this past week's journalilng assignment. I can say, I can sum  up what I believe in this assignment. What Do I Believe About Happiness And Religion? It connects with all the other topics that I wrote about.

I can say when I believe, I don't have to explain what I believe. I don't have to argue my point. I can only confess what I believe.

I believe that there is a God. So I'm have a RELIGION.
I believe that LIFE comes from God. The LIFE of God dwells inside me.
I believe that HUMAN NATURE is apart of LIFE. We are sinners needing to repent. I believe that we should WORK. It's apart of what LIFE is about.

I believe that we should be good stewards of our MONEY. We give, spend, save of our MONEY. I believe that FRIENDSHIPS are important in our lives.
I believe that a MARRIAGE is between a male man and a female woman. I believe that PARENTING is very important in a child's early life. I believe children are a gift from God for parents to raise up in the admiration of God.

I believe that HAPPINESS is apart of LIFE. I believe that's who we know can lead us into HAPPINESS. When things come into our lives we can have that inter peace of knowing God is with us. It's not what situations that come our way. It's our reaction in how we respond and go through that brings that peace to us.

I can't recall when I started believing in God. I grew up with Baptist parents. I heard about Jesus and God through my parents and siblings.

I notice some of the things I believed, in my early years have changed over the coarse of years. Indeed that is because I have matured. There were some negative things that I casted aside. There were many I had to alter.

I see, as I mature in Christ, some of the childish things that I do I have put away. I have seem to eliminate them. I have new insights about life as I experience life.

What I've experienced about HAPPINESS is what I do with it. I mean things should make my happy. But it shouldn't be the case. If I live on having HAPPINESS all the time, than I couldn't experience things that I need to grow in.

Happiness is a wonderful experience. It comes when I choose to let it come. I know when sadness comes I have to grieve or have that time of sorrow. I know that sorrow is just for a time.

Being happy is a choose. I see by being religious, I have a belief that I can be pulled out of sadness. Through the word of God and the Holy Spirit's guidance I can life that live that Jesus has called me to live.

Live in Jesus is the best thing I have experience. I called upon Jesus on March 25, 1983. On September 17, 1993 Jesus make Himself know to me. I began to start attending church gatherings.

It's been 17 years since I've been apart of the assembling of the saints of God. I believe that what I have experienced have been shaping my belief system. I can only speak or believe what I am capable in believing.

I believe that Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world. I believe that God raised Jesus from the died. I believe that Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father.

I believe that Jesus is LORD and is ruling the Nations from heaven's throne. I believe that Jesus will come again to judge the living and the died. I believe the the Holy Spirit is alive in me and is that witness of what I can believe.

This has been another interesting journaling assignment. I have found myself as I sat down to type in what I do, I find that I can flow through with words to say. I have come to think over the assignment for the week.

I see that I have a belief system in how to approach this journaling assignment. If I lay aside some time to journal each day, and have an idea on what I want to share, the words will flow as I am typing.

I've seen to see this as I've been journaling last week. I belief as I 'm journaling daily I have a sense of what's in my heart to share.

I try to practice what I believe each day. I read some form of the word of God daily. I believe that God hears what I say to Him. He hears me when I don't say anything. I believe God knows me.

I believe that God knew about me before the creation of the world. I believe that God has a plan and purpose for my life. I believe in God the Father, I believe in God ,the Son. I believe in God the Holy Spirit, Holy God, 3 in one.

There some much much more I can say about what I believe. I believe in prayer. I'm of the Christian RELIGION. I believe in Christ who is my LORD and Savior.

We all have our ideas about things in LIFE and why we choose to believe what we believe. What is Life ? Why dose HUMAN NATURE affect what we do? Why do we have to WORK? What should we do with our MONEY?

How should we form our FRIENDSHIPS?. What makes up a MARRIAGE? How should we cultivate our RELATIONSHIPS? What about PARENTING?  What bring on  HAPPINESS? Why do we have to have a RELIGION?

Everything we do, or don't do,
say or don't say, or believe or don't believe
It's all for a reason.
We all have our opinion in LIFE.
May we respect others for their opinions.
May we learn to get long with one another.
May we learn to come to gather with common ground.
May we believe what we believe without being mad at others.

Thanks for reading.
I hope it makes sense.

What Do I Believe About RELATIONSHIP and PARENTING?

I have been thinking about my next topics. RELATIONSHIP and PARENTING. What Do I Believe About RELATIONSHIP and PARENTING? What makes up a RELATIONSHIP? What about PARENTING?

We have all kinds and levels of RELATIONSHIPS.
Some are more closer than others.

Parents to children, siblings to siblings, Grandparents to grandchildren, Aunt to nieces, Uncles to nephews, husband to wife, friends to friends, Doctor to patients, Employers to employee, co workers to co workers and etc the list goes on.

We build on our RELATIONSHIPS through the process of time. We learn about one another. We want the other person to like us. We do things for one another out of love and FRIENDSHIPS.

We do things together in RELATIONSHIPS. We share things with one another: our joys, our sorrow, our burdens. We comfort one another. We do life together.

First of all I am not a parent. What can I say about PARENTING?
I believe that a parent has the responsibility for their child whether the child was born out of wedlock or not. I see in most case the mother is the one left with what happens to the child's life. It's hard to care for a child by yourself.

In a marriage with both couple under the same home there are guidelines that the parents lay out. Parents are to train their children. They should be examples. So their children will have to have a life of their own with their set of values about life.

Parents only know or experience from their parents or whoever brought them up. Mortals and values about life is learn them. Then passed down to their children.

What I saw in my upbringing was to be obedient to my parents. I know when I wasn't suppose to do things. We were taught that education was important in life.

We knew what we had to do. We wanted to honor or parents. Parents are suppose to be examples in life that we can follow. I know there are cases people are ashamed of their parents. That another issue.

But, I believe what the Bible saying about parents. We shall honor our father and our mother. This is good in the sight of the LORD. Bringing honor to our parents speak good to the LORD. No matter if the parent wasn't a good parent. Show honor unto the LORD.

Our relationship are important in all walks of LIFE. Those are PARENTING, relationship with their children matters. The two work together.

May we learn to work on our relationships. May those who are parenting have good relationships with their children. May God help our relationships. May we all be good example to those around us. AMEN!

I've been slowing down on my journaling. Not much time to do things today. I started this journal yesterday. I finished up today. My style of writing changed. I'm tried... Hope this entry makes sense.

I hope that I can journal on Religion and Happiness on Sunday. If not I'll do it on the Monday. I plan on getting that one finish.

Thanks for reading.
Peace be with you all.

What Do I Believe About Friendships and Marriage?

I've been thinking about the topics on FRIENDSHIPS and MARRIAGE. What are FRIENDSHIPS? What is a MARRIAGE? What do I have to say about FRIENDSHIPS and MARRIAGE?

What Do I Believe About FRIENDSHIPS?
Who can be called a friend? A person who is friendly. An acquaintances or a person who you just met. There are close friendships, Distant friendships and the list goes on .

Friends find common ground. They have like interest. Everyone can had at least one thing in common. We share the same planet Earth. What about we all are human beings. That's a start in making friends.

We have to speak the same language. How can we understand what we are saying to one another. Friends see the best in us. They make us feel good about ourselves. Friends should be there to help us out at times.

We should over step our FRIENDSHIP. We shouldn't use things to control FRIENDSHIPS. For example a friend shouldn't keep giving and not receiving from friends.

FRIENDSHIP is a two was interaction. There is communication involved. There will be some miss understandings from time to time. But friends should forgive one another.

FRIENDSHIPS lead into more than FRIENDSHIPS. With connect with MARRIAGE. I'm not married or never have been. So I'm not an expert on the MARRIAGE department. But I have some beliefs about the matter.

What Do I Believe About MARRIAGE?
Marriage is the covenant union between  a male man and a female woman. I had to clarify that in the time and age that we live in. A MARRIAGE is a couple that includes a MAN and a WOMAN coming together as one.

The man and woman should be of age or have the consent of their parent to marry if under age. (Who can marry who? There is not such thing as a mix MARRIAGE. Humans marry Humans, color shouldn't be a factor.)

A MARRIAGE is legal when these party come together in the witness of people, before a minister of the Gospel or Judge. I don't believe in common law marriages. A MARRIAGE has a document. That is a license certified at the court house.

Once a couple are in a MARRIAGE that their life. They are in covenant with one another. There are boundaries in a MARRIAGE.

Only one MARRIAGE at one time to one living person at a time. I don't believe in sister wives where at least 2 to 5 women so called married to one man as their husband.

MARRIAGE and FRIENDSHIP go together. The couple are friends for life. They are in covenant with one another. Honor one another Cherish one another, and so forth..Till death do you part kinda MARRIAGE. I hope that in a MARRIAGE the living God is part of their life too.

As a Christian I see MARRIAGE sacred in the eyes of God. There are benefits for people who are married. The MARRIAGE is a RELATIONSHIP with has other issue of LIFE.

I can't say much about the MARRIAGE RELATIONSHIPS because I haven't experience it. I'm single. But I believe in our LIFE time we can choose to married. Our HUMAN NATURE at times, think that we need to find that mate and get married.

Once we find the mate, we develop FRIENDSHIPS that breaks down to that special someone in our lives. When that comes the couple WORK at their FRIENDSHIPS. The subject of MARRIAGE comes up.

Well, that's another topic. MARRIAGE and FRIENDSHIPS are important. The two go together with other things in life.

May we WORK on our FRIENDSHIPS with those around us. May our HUMAN NATURE not get in the way of our FRIENDSHIPS to cause disorder. May we see that we don't have to win friends with our MONEY.

May those we are in a MARRIAGE have good RELATIONSHIPS. May those who are in the PARENTING stages in life have the wisdom to discipline their children. May those who are in a MARRIAGE bring HAPPINESS into their RELATIONSHIPS. AMEN!

I hope that  those who are in a MARRIAGE have a belief in a RELIGION that there is a living God. May God be the focal point of their lives.

What Do I Believe About Work And Money?

I've been thinking about WORK and MONEY. What Do I Believe About WORK And MONEY? The two words go to gather. What is WORK? What is MONEY? How does the money deal work to gather?

This journal assignment is WORK. I had to think, how I was going to do this journal assignment. There was no MONEY that will be earn in return for what I do. I believe that I will receive some benefits in doing this exercise.

What I'm saying, relates with the topics of WORK and MONEY. I had to have the necessary things to make this assignment happen. Without electricity, a computer, an Internet provider and etc, I wouldn't have been able to do what I'm doing.

Most important without the knowledge of knowing how to WORK my computer and so forth, I wouldn't have been able to do what I'm doing. So, where should I start on this assignment about What I Believe About WORK and MONEY?

Have you heard of the saying; Do you think that MONEY doesn't grow on trees? This phrases come to mind when I hear children wanting things from their parents. If MONEY did grew on trees, we would WORK to get that MONEY off that tree. Besides, tree's would be a good item to have in your yard.

That four letter word; WORK! For some, that is a scary word. WORK should be apart of our LIFE. And with HUMAN NATURE, we should be accustom to WORK. It's how we go about LIFE. We have to have some income in our lives. We need the necessary things in LIFE to live.

WORK:
It can be a paying job. Or WORK can be done through volunteering. That's working without pay.  In either case, we do what we do for a purpose. We work to receive pay to life life. We work as volunteers to be a helping hands for others. We receive some type of benefit in the long run.

How old should a person be in order to start working or volunteering? I think as soon as the person is able to understand the value of what they are doing and what they want  whether it's a pleasurable things or as a necessary of LIFE.

When we are children we had chores to do. As a child, we may not have thought that dong chores was WORK. Some parents gave their children allowance for what they did as a reward. I see as doing WORK in childhood, equips us as children for when we grow older.

When we have made it through our schooling, we come to the point of responsibility. We want things. We need things in our lives. We know that MONEY doesn't grow on trees. So, what do we have to do? Find some where to WORK!  That's a J.O.B that you'll receive pay check for what you do.

We are WORKING. We have responsibilities. What do we do with our MONEY is our business. Of coarse we have to pay bills and so forth. There are things that we need and so forth.

Now, the function of WORK and the earning of  MONEY are in operation. This interacts with the other areas of our living....

May we live our lives the best for us. May we learn how to manage our WORK- LIFE and MONEY the best way we know how. May our HUMAN NATURE not make us stumble and do things we shouldn't. May we not over spend.

May we learn that whatever our status in WORK or  FRIENDSHIPS don't hinder things in life. May those who are in a MARRIAGE balance what they do. May there be healthy RELATIONSHIPS in our WORKplace.

May those who are PARENTING have the wisdom to teach their children about WORK ethic and about MONEY.  May we learn that how much MONEY we have or earn doesn't necessarily bring us HAPPINESS.

May those who are RELIGION be faithful to give tithes and offering. May we be faithful and hardworking at what we do. Whether if a paying job or volunteer WORK. Amen!

What Do I Believe About Life and Human Nature?

I've been thinking about life and human nature. What Do I Believe About Life And Human Nature? What is life? When does life begin? What is human nature? What causes us to act the way we do?

Those are some good questions to think about. I could google to find out what life and human nature are on the web. But, I don't want to do that in this journal.

So, I began thinking...When does life begin? I believe that life begins at conception. Life in the female's womb is the place where life begins. I'm Pro-Life. I believe that when a child is conceive, that child's life begins. That child is a human being.

I believe that every one of us were born for a purpose. We weren't born by accident. I believe I wasn't born by accident. I was born the 19th child to my parents.

Besides, human life, there are other forms of life. There's animal life. There is the plant life. Perhaps there is life on other planets...alien life. As long as there is a vital sign of a beat or rhythm, there is life. We live and breath as we have our life to live.

If we live to be 70, that is good. If we live to be 80 that is great. With strength and the will to live we live as long as our human bodies can last.

In the mean time we have to keep our bodies up. We need to wash up. We need to close ourselves. We need to exercise. We need to go to the doctors. All what we do helps us to live fit and longer to enjoy our lives.

What about Human Nature? What causes us to do the things we do? For example why am I doing this journaling assignment in the way that I'm doing it? I had to think about what I was going to do.

I read what I needed to do for this assignment. I thought about. Then through the process thinking, I made up my mind on how I was going to do this journaling assignment.

I responded in a manner that works for me. Someone else will have a different approach on how to do their journaling assignment. We have our own set of thinking.

Human nature is built inside of us. Did we have to learn how to breath when we came out of our mother's womb? I don't think so. When a live baby is born, breathing should come nature.

I don't think we go to sinning school to learn how to sin. It comes nature to us. But when we realize that what we do is a sin, we should want to stop sinning.

We are not prefect. Our human nature comes. We have to have the awareness of what is right and what is wrong.

Our lives are important.
Each one of us were born for a purpose. As for our human nature, it comes with life. Life and human nature interacts with the things that are connected ...

Whether if it's in the area of  life as to...
WORK: When should we start working and when should we retire?
MONEY: When is a person old enough to handle money?
FRIENDSHIP: How old should a person be to start friendship?
MARRIAGE: When should a person get married?
RELATIONSHIP: When should a person be in relationships?
PARENTING: When should a couple have a child?
HAPPINESS: When does happiness start?
RELIGION: Should we have a religion some time in our life?

We have our belief system about what we think about life and human nature is all about. WE live our lives. During the the process of time, our human nature kicks in.
May we live life to the fullest. May we learn what we are not prefect. May we see that some of our human nature can be corrected. May we respect others for their opinions. Amen!

Introduction: What Do I Believe?

I received my next journaling assignment for the week. The question for the next seven days, What Do You Believe? I have to list at least 10 of the beliefs that I have about life, human nature, work, money, friendship, marriage, relationships, parenting, happiness, and religion.

I've been thinking about this assignment. I was trying to figure out a way to journal about these topics. I decided to group them in to two topics. I think it will work out. This journal entry is my introduction; What Do I Believe?

Have you ever wondered why you believe what you believe? Our mind set or beliefs have to come from somewhere. But where? At times, I wonder, why I believe the things I do.

Our beliefs system comes from a variety of sources. What our parents or guardians taught us. What we learned during our schooling years throughout life. What influences we had or have with our friends and our enemies. The environment were we are located affects our belief. What we have experienced in our life can interact with what we believe.

We all have some source of belief system to work from. There are some of our beliefs that work well for us. Then there are those we have abandon. We have negative experiences that come in our lives. So, we have choices to make; to believe things or not?

What we believe is a choice on our own behave. Whether we are right or wrong, is based on our opinion. What's there to prove? If you're right and I'm wrong. It all boils down to how we believe.

Who wins or loses? That's not the point. It's what we take value in in our morals and believe. We can later in life find out what we believe wasn't the true. Or maybe what we that was the true was a lie.

I will share What Do I Believe About Life and Human Nature? Those are interesting topics. Wonder how I can do this? I have to do some thinking. What is LIFE? What is Human Nature?

I figure to take two topics, once a day for five days. Then conclude on Monday with my final thoughts on this assignment.

Introduction: What Do I Believe?Continues on next journal entry.

Journaling Assignment: Gifts Anyone? Part 1

I was out on a mission to explore and discover the gifts that God has blessed me with. I had some help from some of my family members and some friends. There were about 39 people who responded to my request. I'm thankful for those who replied and shared some things with me.

I was surprised by what some shared. What all shared was uplifting. Some saw more things in me than I didn't. There were somethings people shared did enlighten my spirit.

There were a lot of encouraging words spoken about me. As I was doing this assignment, I had a mind set... I thought to myself, What are my gifts and talents?  I saw some of what people shared with me.

In all this assignment was very interesting.  I was blessed by what others shared with me. There were about 8 people who answered what I requested of them. There were about 22 who added something about themselves or spoke of something that caught my attention. There were about 9 who either spoke blessings into my life or added more about what they were saying to me.

Two people shared these scriptures

Ecclesiastic 6:16
A faithful friend is the medicine of life.

Proverb 18:24
A man that  has friends much show himself friendly; and there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. AKJV.

Here's a few I thought to share...

One person said... I hope I'm not too late on my feedback. I see as one of your unique abilities: to look around you and see the beauty of nature. I see your abilities to see the positive in everyone.

You are an intelligent, sensitive, strong woman whom I admire. You can explore, your genealogy like a detective and I can't even imagine how you do it. You are extremely articulate and I enjoy your writing.

Another person said..." You are full of the joy of the Lord and His peace, is evident in all you do. You use those gifts when you greet and bring such a sweetness to that role.  There are people that come through the doors of the church, parched from the winds of adversity, and your gentle spirit and kind words are like oil, that soothes their wounded souls.

I have know you for years and I have never heard you speak unkindly, your word are always seasoned with loved.  You are an exhorter and it is obvious in your posts on Facebook. You are like a morter. You smooth the gaps between the "bricks', Bring great strength to the body, You are deeply loved, because you love. "

Another person said..."I see you as a devoted diligent and detailed. You are devoted to your family, friends and web acquaintances. You are diligent to post your heart daily and in those posts you are detailed. I don't think I've ever seen any negativity, only what uplifts and I personally appreciate that."

Another person said:  I want to be concrete, but see your strengths more in a spiritual, philosophical, thinking way--hope this will help.

I think your unique ability is to take ordinary or neglected spiritual disciplines and bring them to life for your readers. It is combination of writing and analyzing talent.

I think you are passionate about 'honest' faith-- not through rose colored glasses--maybe realistic. You can be counted on to accept responsibility for your obligations and be honest when they don't go exactly the way you desire.

I think you are very transparently spiritual--no fluff. I find myself writing honest and spiritual in answering your questions. You do have a very interesting writing style and making mundane spiritual activities interesting to read about."

Another person said..."A unique gift of God speaking to you  to reach out to brothers and sisters in Christ to bring an uplifting Word just at the right time. Its an unseen gift that glorifies God in the Spiritual realms where the praise of it is not heard by human ears but heard by all the hosts and angels."

Another  person said.." You are kind, thoughtful, and dependable. And good with details. Don't underestimate that! We humans tend not to give much value to those traits that are easy and natural for us, but we need to remember they may not come naturally for others, and others value them highly. I know that we ourselves do not often recognize the qualities that we have.

Another person said..."My immediate impression of you is your constancy. You have a presence of calm and a steady approach to life and its challenge. Every single time we meet, I see an inner radiance that I believe is related to your faith and is evidence by your enduring passion to help others.

You have the gift of being a true listener - you really hear what is said to you so the person talking to you feels that you genuinely care about what they are sharing. In an increasingly busy, and sometimes impersonal world, we need more individuals with your skills to bring back what is the essential, caring part of being human."

Another person said...The unique quality that I see in you is faithfulness. You have the ability to do everything in an excellent manner whatever direction you are being asked to go.
Because of your faithfulness you are a woman of your word and can be counted on to always do what is required of you and to be there on time with a cheerful attitude.

You walk in a quality of Peace and I have never seen you out of sorts, consistent behavior. I know that we do not often recognize the qualities that we have. Thanks for asking me, this has been my observation of you through the years I have known you,

May God's blessing be upon you in everything you undertake to do this day and all the days ahead. Have a Blessed Holiday Season as we celebrate the birth of the One who we love and have given our lives for...

Thanks all for your help in this journal assignment : Gifts Anyone?

Here are some things that I thought were interesting to share with you... Where are a few things I think, I'm gifted in and things I do...

I see that I do have a good memory for dates and birthdays etc. There are times I forget. Thank God for calendar.

I see that I tend to be quiet and listen to what people are saying.
There are times when I don't know what to say...so I listen.

I see that I'm compassionate about God, Jesus, His people, His church. I can't remember when I drew more compassionate to Jesus. I want to know more about Him.

I see that I like to dress nice. I was taught that we should look nice when we go places. Especially to church related events.

I see that I try to look at the best of others. As my parents would say...treat others nice.

I see that I'm a care giver. I see that I have the heart to help others...There are times when I know I need to step back and learn to be a care giver to my own needs.

I see that I have some artist abilities. In my early years I love to draw. I see that I still have an eye for creative things. I observe nature while I'm out.

I love searching for my family history. I journaling a lot about what I find on my journey.
I like to journal. I journal just about every day. I have varies topics and ideas that come to me to share on my websites.

I'm thankful for what my family member and friends share. What's most important is what God says about me. I see what God has been saying to me is what some of what my family members and friends are sharing with me.

I know that we are not perfect. But if we see the best in others, we can move on with the strengths in our lives. What we are weak in, others can come and help us fill in the gap.

This has been an empowering assignment.
I put some time in doing this one.
Thanks for reading!

Moving on to the next assignment...

A Big Mission

Greetings! It's cold outside. In the teens. Burrr! I've been reading and taking notes on what others have wrote about my unique abilities. What people see in me....Wow!

I don't know how many of my family members and friends replied to my request. Some blessed me with scriptures about being a friend. There were some who speak a blessing over me. How thoughtful!

This is a big mission. I didn't know what I was getting myself into. I haven't really wrote about my discoveries yet. I'm still in the process.

Some say that I'm a good writer. I'm faithful and trustworthy. I'm a caregiver and care about my family and friends. I am devoted to God, my family and friends, and church family.

There's more.... I plan to have this assignment done. Soon, I hope. It's been an interesting journey. I'm exploring more about myself and others.

May we continue on the journey of life. May we bring out the best in others. May we see the beauty in others. May we discover more about who we are and what makes us tick in Jesus' name Amen!

A Big Mission!

Seeing Some Insights

Greetings! I'm still reading emails from family member and friends. I didn't expect as many responds as I got. I believe that I will get some more emails.

I can work with what I have this far. Some are saying similar things. That I'm faithful, an encourager. But, I want to go back and see what each person said and combine things.

I think it would be interesting to combine what others said about me. I will compare with what I think my unique abilities are. This assignment is interesting.

I'm seeing a new light about myself. Things that others see in me. Glory be to God.

May we learn to hear what others are saying. May we be thankful for the people who are in our lives. May we work with one another to get things done in Jesus' Name Amen.

Learning Some Things

Hello, there journaling world!

I've been emailing family members and friends. I'm getting some feedback. It took me awhile to start emailing people. I'm glad I did.

I thought some wouldn't reply. But there have been many that replied today. I am thankful that some said some things to me.

I've been thinking about what I think my gifts are. I don't talk a lot to people a don't know. Well at first.

I've learned some things by what others do. I think that I'm willing to learn new things. I don't know how many people I've asked on this assignment. It's an unique assignment.

May we learn from what others say about us. May we be humble willing to listen to one another. May the Lord reveal our gifts and talents to us. Amen!

It's About Time

Greetings! It's been a good day! I've been be thinking on how I used my time for 7 days. I've learn some things. Also I've changed some of my habits. Yes, it's about time!

What did I noticed about how I used my time today and through the seven days! Time can't be reused. When the time comes that's the time that I have in that moment. So our time should be important to us.

It's been a peaceful day. The second day of the week, I'm trying to get into what I'm needing to do. I managed to do things in new ways. I'm not spending too much time on one thing.

I've been future posting my poems. I try to write one poem a day. Then I future post that poem on my site. I see by doing this I don't have 5 or 8 posts to post by the end of the week.

I found a site where I can post on it while I can post on my other sites' statuses. I'm posting the same thing on those sites. I can save time by not going to my other site and log in.

I been having blog ideas come to me. That's great! I've been doing things without actually thinking about blogs for 2011. I need to future post some blogs.

My work day is coming along OK! I plan out what I need to do. I work through out the day on things. I notice by doing little things at a time I can get some things done. I do one task at a time.

I'm sorting things. I'm finding more things to add to the family history site. It strange how I do one thing and what I'm doing gives me ideas for other things I need to do. I'm coming up with poems and blogs to write about.

I felt great when I'm doing some the things I like. I have to draw the line when I need to stop. I need to do other things. By doing this it gives me balance.

In all I like this assignment about taking note of our time and what, how I use it . Each day is different. But the time reminds the same.

There are 24 hours in a day. What we do with those 24 hours is up to each one of us. We have the gift of each day that comes to us.

May we use our days as gift from God. May God grant us the wisdom to go throughout our days. May we use our time wisely. May we see the beauty in each day that comes in Jesus' Name Amen!

Peace of God be with you.
Thanks for reading.

Great Way To Learn

Greetings! What a great day! It's been a wonderful Lord's Day!

What did I noticed about how I used my time today! Time is a great way to learn what is needed. Sunday is the Sabbath. We should rest from our labor. I've been learning to do that.

I can see Sunday as a day to catch up on things that I didn't get done with during the week days. But, I should just remind myself that I need a time of rest from things in the week.

Sunday is the time for football games. Yes, I watched a little of the games. I wasn't as interested as I was in the beginning of the season. I'm doing other things.

It's Advent Season. I'm focusing on the Christmas season. I'm on the Advent journey to Christmas Day! I'm celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and awaiting His 2nd coming.

I notice that I can balance more on Sunday. I don't do as much as I do during the week days. Sundays seem to be a lighter day for me.

In all, I'm resting and relaxing. I see this as a very good thing. I'm reflecting back on the day. I'm thankful to be a blessing to people. What joy it is to be a blessing. It's been a peaceful day.

May we enter into the peace of God. May we learn to balance out our days. May we learn to rest from our labor. May we enjoy the moments that we are in. AMEN!

There was another thing I notice to day. For some reason, I had a hard time sleeping. last night. I can stay that I was a bit sleep this morning. I need my rest.

Grace and Peace to you.

Our Time Is Important

Greetings to you on this wonder day! What did I noticed about how I used my time today! Time is valuable. I learned that I need to use what time I have to get what I need done for that day.

I had a lot of time to do things today. I like Saturdays! I can catch up on things that I need to. I noticed that if I put time on one thing, than I can focus on that one thing. But I notice if I spend too long on that one thing, I can't get other things done.

I was needing to work on a project. I notice that I spent to long doing something. I stopped doing that and worked on my project. I got my project finished. Here's a sample.

From the Book Of Common Prayer

I spend some time on making a display. I just copied what was on our church announcements. I didn't know how to make it. It's my second one. I'm experimenting with it. (I use this display that upright to pray from. I pray the weekly prayer in the Upper Room.)

I had a good time making that display. It exercised my thinking. I like that. It's something to do weekly.

What we do with our time is important. I know I should stay up late on Saturday. I need to get ready for Sunday worship. It's been a great day to explore.

May we learn to enjoy the time that we have. May we see the beauty of what we can do in the time that we have. May God grant us wisdom in what we should do with our time in Jesus' Name Amen!

Hope you had a Great Day!
Peace be with you!

Make The Best Of Things

Greetings to you! Been a long day! Learned some things. Still Staying On The Journey! Journey with Jesus. That was my last tweet for today on twitter.

What did I noticed about how I used my time today! I noticed things. I learned to go with the flow of things. I see, if I can do the best of what I'm doing, in the time that I'm in, I can continue to get through as I'm going along. I'm learning to do things with a different attitude.

I had plans to attend a worship service. But before I joined the gathering, I went to the Upper Room prayer chapel at the church campus. I thought that I would have some quiet time the way I wanted. Well, I was surprised.

There were two teenagers singing and praising God. I think that they were preparing for the night's prayer gathering after the main gathering in church. These teenagers were in the Upper Room majority of the time that I was there.

I didn't get up tight. The music was loud. However, I did know most of the songs that they were singing.

I was blessed by what they were doing. They were singing praises to the LORD. That's what the chapel is for. Prayer and worship, a place to come and commune with God.

It's been a good ending for this day. The message was good. The time of praise and worship was also.

Whatever comes our way, may we make the best of things. Move in what is there. Be thankful for the moments that you are in. May we learn from what we go through in Jesus' name Amen!

Peace be with you!

Need Not To Rush: Slow Down

Greetings to you!  It's time for me to do my homework assignment for today. I see by journaling every day, does help me. I see that the more I type my spelling has been improving. I don't have as many errors.

I think it's good to have a place to come to journaling. Everything I'm typing is what's coming to my thoughts as I am typing. I go back over what I have written to see if it makes some sense.

What did I noticed about how I used my time today!Well, I did some things out of order. I got up as I usually do. I had to get on my lap top to post on twitter and facebook. I wouldn't be able to get on my computer until noon time.

What I notice during when I get on my computer early, I seem to rush through things after I get off. I don't know where some things are when I'm in a rush. I've learned to have what I needed before I go in the morning.

I need to work on how I'm going do things in the morning. I need to find some way to post early when I can't post later in the morning time. I don't like to rush into my day.

I see when I have my devotional time, I am relaxed afterward. I can even write a poem. Well, this morning I write one in a hurry. I finished it as the day went on.

We had to go to the store. What a task that is. It takes about an hour. When we got back, I had to put of the food. Than tend to my brother's care when I get back. I think I'm getting better on the days when we go to the store.

As I cared for my brother, I began to rest up. Thursdays are my heavy days in doing things. Still, I have to break things up to balance out what I do.

During the afternoon and evening time, I tried to do other things. Today, when I was on my computer I had some free time to do somethings. I notice I took too long. I need to do some journaling on my xanga site. I was behind on today's and Friday's blogs.

I like to future post on Journaling_Susan site, my family history site and poem site. It gets me time to work on other things. As for this site I can future post as well.

I get frustrated when my computer acts up. I tried to download a video of one of my brother's water baptism. I did that. But I couldn't download it to email it. I'll try again some other time.

I had to do other things while my computer wasn't working right. I manage to cook some meat loaf and an apple pie.  I don't like to rush to do things. I should take my time.

Now, I'm resting. I'm journaling away on my assignment. I need to go to bed earlier. I notice last night, I didn't get enough sleep. Perhaps that was what through my day off.

Reflecting back over this day: I see that I can do some things in a way that I don't need to rush. I should plan ahead for tomorrow today. I should have an idea what I'm going to wear and what's needed to be done.

In all I think it was an OK! The weekend is coming. I like the weekends. It's different than the week days.

May we learn to not to rush in doing things. May we plan ahead for what we are
going to do. May we learn from the things that we experience on our journey in Jesus' Name Amen!

Need Not To Rush!
Peace to you!

Been On An Adventure: With New Beginnings

Greetings to you! I'm off on a new adventure...again. This morning, I had this idea to create this site. I don't know what all, I will do here. I had an idea some time this year to set up a site with all my websites on.

Well, I've added all my sites on this website expect a few. I'm not on those sites anymore. (I'm on facebook. I can't find my http:// address.)

I joined a journaling site on Tuesday, November 8, 2010. I didn't know how long I would be there. But, I'm still there. I journal on that site just about every day. However, only members on that website can see what I post.

So, I thought to add some of the things I post on that jouraling site. This site will be different from my journaling site. I can add photos, videos and links here with my blog post.

That journaling website emails me an assignment on Tuesdays. I'm on my 4th assignment. I'm observing how I'm using my time daily for a week. I'm thinking about what I do and what I could stop doing. I'm trying not to waste time.

Here were the other assignments. The First week: I was monitoring my moods.  The Second week: I was to write a conversation with some one who has or had an impact on my life. The Third week: I was to journal on defining moments.

I like to journal. I notice that when I'm given an assignment or topic to journal about, I think about what I can share. It's helps me out on what to blog about.

What did I noticed about how I used my time today?
I noticed that when I have my devotional time in the morning, my day has a fresh start. I didn't have to rush in doing thing. I have a sense of ease.

When I began my work day today, I was behind a bit. It was not on  my behalf. I care for one of my brothers. I can't rush him to do things. I have to wait for him when he is ready.

I noticed as I waited for him, I had an opportunity to do other things for him while he was getting ready to eat. When he came to eat things flowed into place.

He ate. I had to help him with his daily routines. This went with out trouble. I got done quicker than I thought I would. I just rearranged some of the things that I do.

I continued on about my day. I had this thought to create this website. I was going to re post what I wrote on the journaling site. But than again I thought not.

I just start where I'm at. Besides, some of what I wrote about is on my Journaling_Susan site. However, there were some thing that I did I haven't done on my other sites. I could add them here. Maybe I will.

This day is not over. I have other things to do. I'm visiting my websites. I'm journaling. I will go to my last Bible Study. In the mean time. I'm observing what I do with my time and so forth.

Hope that this site will bring some good to those who discover it.
Peace and Grace to you.
