Living In The Moments: Enjoying Life

It was a beautiful Sunday!

Every Super Bowl Sunday, I ask some of my friends, one on one, face to face Word of Life Church, who's going to win the Super Bowl? I have fun doing it. ~ Anybody who knows me, knows who I'm rooting for.

Two people asked me, who I thought will win the game? And I said "the team who scores the most points." True story. And only one person told me who "they" really roots for. That person and I root for the same team.

I went to a Super Bowl party. We had fun....stayed till about the end of 2nd quarter. Went home and continued to watch the game. I didn't get into the commercials. I heard that 30 seconds cost 5.5 million dollars.

I stayed up late watching the Super Bowl. I had a great time.  The whole day was wonderful. It's rare that I stay up late. Football season is over for now. Baseball season is coming.

Prayer for the Week of  Sunday, February 4, 2018
Set us free, O God, from the bondage of our sins, and give us the liberty of that abundant life which you have made known to us in your Son our Savior Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Scripture for the Week of  Sunday, February 4, 2018
Mark 1:29-39
And immediately he left the synagogue and entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. Now Simon’s mother-in-law lay ill with a fever, and immediately they told him about her. And he came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and the fever left her, and she began to serve them.

That evening at sundown they brought to him all who were sick or oppressed by demons. And the whole city was gathered together at the door. And he healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons. And he would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him.
And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed. And Simon and those who were with him searched for him, and they found him and said to him, “Everyone is looking for you.” And he said to them, “Let us go on to the next towns, that I may preach there also, for that is why I came out.” And he went throughout all Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and casting out demons.

Thanks for reading and praying.
God bless you.
