Express Gratitude: Three Kinds Of People

I am thankful for people who are thoughtful and can relate.
When people are thoughtful, they want to reach out to others by making them feel welcomed.
They can relate and make others feel at home.

I'm thankful for people who gave feedback and can be helpful.
We can go about life not saying much to people because we appear to be so busy.
Feedback brings encouragement and an uplift to the spirits of others.

I'm thankful for people who are respectful and kind.
When we acknowledge one another we should show respect.
And being kind reflects our charter for those who we meet.

To all who are thoughtful and can relate, gave feedback and bring encouragement, those who are respectful and are kind, God bless you. We can never know a person until we reach out to others.

My Number One Friend

I am thankful that God calls me friend.
I am thankful that He has brought friends into my life.
Friends are truly blessings to have.

Who is my number one friend?

Actually, my number one friend is more than a friend,
He's my LORD and Savior, to name a few.

His name is above all names.
His name is Jesus.
He with me 24/7.
No one can ever ask for a better friend.

I'm thankful that Jesus came into my life 40+ years ago.
He knows me more than anyone could  know me.

I'm thankful that Jesus is leading me in the way I should go.
Without Him, I am nothing.

I am thankful that the LORD is  always with me throughout my life's journey.
I can talk to Him about anything that concerns me.
I'm thankful that some day I will get to met my friend Jesus face to face.

Thank You, LORD, the lover of my soul!

My Hometown

I was thinking about my hometown. Without saying the name of the city, I will share a few things about what's there. There are key places in this city.

I'm thankful that something sweet is coming out of this city.
The home of the cherry mash.

I'm thankful that I grow up in a town that in the history books.
The place where the Pony Express begin and where Jessie James ended.

I'm thankful that I had the opportunity to attend some practice games of a NFL team. .
The place where the Kansas City Chiefs holds their Training Camp.

I'm thankful that I can view some of the places where some of my ancestors lived and walked .
I'm thankful I had the opportunity to live were my parents and their parents resided.
I'm thankful to have a hometown

Something Someone Gave Me: A Compliment

I'm thankful for the gifts that God has blessed me with. I'm thankful for the gift of life that Jesus gives. I'm thankful that I have the opportunity to welcome people into the service before the Sunday gathering.

It's a good feeling to see people coming into the building each Sunday as we gather as the church to worship Jesus. And seeing the children running to check in to their classes. Thank You, Jesus!

The compliment came on  Sunday, January 22, 2023.

I'm thankful for the elderly man who came up to me and gave me a compliment.  I was not expecting to hear this.

At first, he asked me if I was a greeter? I said yes and showed him my name tag. Then he reached out his left hand to shake mine.. He thank me for being a greeter. And he said that he appreciated all that I do. That made a good feeling inside me. I thank God for that man. And I believe God sent him to me. I needed to hear this.

Being a greeter is challenging.

At times we forget to thank others for what they do. We can take the gifts that God blesses us with for granted. If you are a greeter in a church or work where you greet people ; THANK YOU for your ministry. God bless you.
