Looking Forward Into the Season

We're a month away from the Lenten Season.  It falls on Valentine's Day! How sweet.  And Easter falls on April 1st. Hmm. It's not a joke.

It's been a good start for this 2nd full Week of 2018. And we have a snow day. I enjoyed gathering with the church this morning. I had the honor to greet some of the people. It was a blessing

We have a new platform design. I like it. I have to get use to looking at the center screen. There are three screens. We had three back in the day.

The youth worship teams lead us into worship. It was beautiful. They did a good job too.

Prayer for the Week : Common Book Of Prayer
Beginning Sunday, January 14

Almighty God, whose Son our Savior Jesus Christ is the light of the world: Grant that your people, illumined by your Word and Sacraments, may shine with the radiance of Christ's glory, that he may be known, worshiped, and obeyed to the ends of the earth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, now and for ever. Amen
