    On my journey of transformation
Since I started attending Church mid September of 1993, I got interested in other Bible translations over the years. When I grew up, I was first introduced to The Old King James Version. I didn't like that version in my "up bringing."

But when I got interested in the Book of Revelation, I started reading the New Testament. Later on, I came across The Revised English Bible. This Bible helped me out some. I began attending Church more and became apart of the Church Community. This was where I was introduce to The New King James Version.
I like to look at different translations from time to time. I am going through the Bible this year. I am listening to the KJV and reading the Bible in the NKJV. As I have been doing this, my thinking has been alert to some things.

I have noticed in Genesis, something catches my attention. Some of the people stated that their Grandchildren were their children. I  thought that that was interesting.

I have notice that on my ancestral search I see some things. Some of my relatives would state that their grandchildren where their children. And even so stepchildren were considered their children.

Now as I am reading more in the New Living Translation, I have been aware of other things. I have liked the NLT since I came across it by listening to a Christian program in 2005 or 2006. This translation has better wording for me.

On my weblog I have been using different translations. I have started to use the Contemporary English Version. Some of this translations have prayers scriptures in them. I like that very much.

I bring my New King James Version Bible to Church gatherings. While in Church, we are at times using the New Living Translation and The English Standard Version. I do like to see other translations. They open up the meaning of scriptures for me.
The earth is the LORD's, everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him. NLT Psalm 24:1
The earth and everything on it belong to the LORD. The world and its people belong to him. CEV Psalm 24:1
It is an honor to receive an honest reply. NLT Proverbs 24:26
Giving an honest answer is a sign of true friendship. CEV Proverbs 24:26

Then Jesus called for the children and said to the disciples, "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. NLT Luke 18:16
So Jesus called the children over to him and said, "Let the children come to me! Don't try to stop them. People who are like these children belong to God's kingdom. CEV Luke 18:16
Dear Lord, suffer the children to come to us too, all day and suffer us to be kind and open and generous and intent and honest and attentive to them. ---Brian Doyle
Father God, I am so thankful that I can come to You like a child. I am thankful that there are many translations of Your Holy Book. I am thankful that You call me Your beloved daughters.

I am thankful that NOW FAITH is the substance of things HOPE for and evidence not [YET] seen. I am thankful the Door of HOPE of the everlasting things in You. I am thankful that we have friendship with one another.

I am thankful that HEALING is for everyone. I am thankful that everything belongs to You. I am thankful for Your faithfulness in PROVISION. I am thankful for  awesome SIGNS and WONDERS.

I am thankful for others who find SALVATION through Jesus. I am thankful that I can add things to my Book of Thanks and Blessing every day. I am thankful for Your DELIVERANCE in Jesus' name Amen.
